Over 20 years’ Experience

Jemima has helped many mothers fulfill their desire to breast feed, giving them the necessary knowledge and advice to ensure they enjoy this rewarding and unique experience. On occasions, mothers encounter problems, such as difficulty with attachment, pain when feeding or concerns about their baby getting enough breast milk. This can often lead to feelings of failure or regret, but Jemima’s expertise and empathy means she is able to offer advice about breastfeeding skills during antenatal sessions, which will give you the confidence to breast feed after birth. These sessions cover important aspects such as:

  • Attachment and suckling
  • Position of your baby’s head during feeding
  • Expressing and storage of breast milk
  • Frequency of feeds and feeding patterns
  • The causes and treatment of Mastitis
  • Leaking and soreness

Impartial Advice

Some new mothers choose formula feeding, which is a decision that we totally respect. Jemima can offer impartial advice on this method of feeding to support parents on the safety of the preparation of formula and to be a listening ear.
